Cloud storage is so well known to the public that it’s now a household name. It’s revolutionizing the way we think about storage and giving mobile access to our data another dimension. Never before has such a simple and secure system existed for both business sectors and home users.
Not everyone seems to be happy about it, though. But surprisingly, when you delve a little deeper into their reasoning, it appears to be for a different reason than simply because they dislike or distrust the system. For example, one of the main reasons could be because they are just sick of hearing about cloud storage from their peers who have already made the transition themselves. They’re fed up of hearing cloud this and cloud that. Why don’t you have the cloud yet?! Cloud is better! Cloud is safer! Cloud is cheaper!
This is unfortunate because a lot of business and home users may have been put off the cloud mainly because of hearing this very word too much—yet still without knowing hardly anything about the system itself. Not good. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with not signing up to cloud storage, but it would be a shame to see these people avoiding its benefits (such as automated daily backups and government level encrypted security) because of the wrong reasons.
Our advice for these people who may have come to resent cloud storage (but still have a minimum amount of knowledge about it) is that they find some peace and quiet, gather some information on the subject, and then decide for themselves whether they want to make the switchover.
