Computer giants Dell have this week released a series of features which enable them to move into the world of cloud storage. These features have enabled Dell to make partners through cloud storage and they are designed to work with the other features Dell previously released which allows users to pinpoint performance bottlenecks at their cloud storage data centres. The cloud storage updates are aimed at their partners and improving their user experience, but Dell also released a program called the cloud storage certification program whereby partners can choose up to 3 options including Cloud Builder, Cloud Provider or Cloud Solutions Enabler. A Dell spokesman said that this will allow partners to work closely with Dell and improve their cloud storage solutions which is something that their partners have been waiting for. A spokesman for Computerworld, one of Dell’s partners, said that they have been waiting to see what Dell’s stance would be concerning cloud storage. This is an exciting time for Dell’s partners as they can now look to progress with their cloud storage plans working hand in hand with the industry giant, and there has been huge interest in their cloud storage plans from all over Europe after they announced the plans at a conference there.
