JustCloud’s cloud storage backup couldn’t be easier. This is because we don’t merely offer conventional manual backups like a lot of other providers, but offer automated scheduled backups. What does this mean? Well, it’s pretty much exactly how it sounds. And once it’s setup, you won’t have to ever worry about remembering to backup your files for cloud storage again.
So how do you implement automated scheduled backups into your JustCloud service?
That’s real easy. When you install and setup the program (whether you select My Documents or select files for backup manually), it automatically kick starts this tool—meaning you won’t have to do anything! So put your feet up and relax, because JustCloud has it all under control.
However, if you’re software doesn’t seem to be automatically backing up your data for some reason, possibly because a friend or peer has disabled the feature, you can turn it back on by performing the following steps:
- Open up the desktop control panel
- Click on ‘Settings’
- Click on ‘Schedule’
- Change the ‘Backup Schedule’ setting from ‘Manual’ to either ‘Hourly’ or ‘Daily’, depending on your needs (if you have specific requirements, click on ‘Advanced Schedule’ and then ‘Edit Schedule’)
- If necessary, set the time you would like your backups to run by changing the ‘Backup Start Time’ field below
- Finally, click on ‘OK’ to save the new settings
You can now rest assured that your cloud storage backups will be taken care of automatically, courtesy of JustCloud!
