Forget Olympic Worries Thanks to Cloud Computing

We are not far away from the 2012 London Olympics which is very exciting but is also guaranteed to cause some widespread public transport disruption which could cause problems from some firms, however those using cloud computing will have a definite advantage over firms who aren’t currently using the system. The reason for this? Cloud computing offers multiple benefits specifically to teleworkers, and it looks as though many firms might be forced to employ their employees from home if they can’t make it into the office. One great feature of cloud computing in this sort of situation is file collaboration which allows two workers to work on the same file in real time from their houses, meaning that if there was extensive transport disruptions and workers wouldn’t couldn’t make it into the office, productivity wouldn’t be damaged. If it weren’t for this option, workers would be late into work or even worse not even get there at all – resulting in large losses for their employers. Hopefully this pre-warning will lead to a race to install cloud computing in time for the Olympics before it is in full swing as their is a certain degree of preparation required before a firm can operate a cloud computing system.
